Every weather app you have ever opened shows you a flat colored smear. A 2D radar image, projected onto a flat map, with no sense of the air it represents.
MesoSky renders the atmosphere as it actually exists: a three-dimensional volume, raymarched from raw NEXRAD Level 2 data the moment it lands. Storm cores are objects you can rotate. Cloud bases sit at their real altitudes. Lightning is geolocated to the GLM satellite's reported position, not approximated.

Then turn on Model Guidance: spaghetti tracks from ten-plus forecast models — GFS, ECMWF, HWRF and friends — with the official forecast emphasized so you can see the consensus and the outliers at a glance.
